Lia Rousset is a collaborative, installation-based artist. Her professional vocations have progressed from Olympian and coach, performing highly technical and teamwork related skills; to craftswoman, building aesthetic and functional objects such as flutes and boats; to artist, creating place-and-experience-based environments.

With respect for the inherent potential in people, material, and place, Lia uses art-making as a connective tool and generates situations where people come together as creative agents.
